Thank you to all the youth leaders, adult chaperones, and participants for making the weekend at St. Henry’s a remarkable retreat! The feedback we received was not only all positive, but we are thrilled that so many youth grew exponentially in their personal relationships with God from this weekend!

Parents of Young Children: Christmas Holiday Babysitting Service
Parents, do you need to get some last minute shopping done before Christmas? Chances are you might need a great babysitter! On Dec. 18th, from 1 to 5 p.m. our youth will be having a GREAT babysitting afternoon at St. Henry’s! It’s $5 per child for the four hour time frame, where you can drop off your children ages 1-10 years old, and we will have some holiday fun as well! We will be making surprise gifts for mom, dad, or even the grandparents! If you would like your children to be part of this great experience, please PRE-REGISTER with Kym Allex at 763.271.3092 before Dec.16th. All proceeds go to the St. Henry’s Delegation to the National March for Life pilgrimage.
Adult Volunteers:
Any adults who feel called to serve the youth through youth ministry, we invite to the Parent Committee meeting on Dec. 13th after the 7 p.m. daily mass. We hope to see you at mass and at the meeting afterwards! This month, we will be discussing the upcoming semester’s worth of events for volunteering!
Middle School Students: Youth Nights
We hope to see you SATURDAY, December 17th, from 6 to 8 for the Christmas Party! We will be decorating for the season, making gingerbread houses, and a gift exchange! Remember on the 17th to bring a white elephant gift (something small from around the house, no need to go and buy a gift) to be able to participate in our Christmas exchange! If you forget a gift, that’s ok, we still can’t wait to see you!
High School Students: Youth Nights
The next Youth Night is December 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. as we have a cookie decorating contest, decorating party, and have fun on this great social night!

On Nov. 27th from 6 to 8 p.m., our Annual Family Mystery Dessert Theatre production has a twist! This year we are having a Mission Trip Benefit Concert and we are excited to announce the performances from lots of great performers! We invite families of all ages to come and be our VIP guests behind the scenes and help us solve the mystery! Wonderful desserts and hey it’s a free will donation where all proceeds go to our National March for Life delegation and Youth Mission Trip Fund! Please be there to support our youth!

Sun. night, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the FYSH Bowl is the place to be if you are a High school student who wants to understand the new translation changes before they take effect on Nov. 27th!

We are planning on attending a mission trip to the Red Lake Reservation this upcoming summer 2012! This mission trip is open to 2012-2013 rising 9th through rising freshmen in college! If you are interested, you can get a registration packet at the Youth Bulletin Area, across from the Parish Offices. Pre-registration is due by Nov. 14th!
National March for Life Pilgrimage to Wash. D.C.:
We currently have two spots available for youth participants for the National March for Life pilgrimage! We are also seeking a male chaperone for this journey! If you are interested, please contact Kym Allex.

Issue Night—Nov. 6th “Culture of Death”
On Nov. 6th, we invite the whole parish (8th grade and up) to attend our Issue topic night on abortion and our culture. We have engaging speakers, a breakout session where you can pick which mini-sessions to attend and to end the night a truly powerful prayer service for the unborn, Parents, we welcome you to bring your youth so that this may become a helpful foundation on speaking with your youth on the importance of life.
High School Mission Trip:

National March for Life Pilgrimage to Wash. D.C.
Our parish high school teens and adults interested in being chaperones are invited to attend this year’s National March for Life pilgrimage. Information can be found at the Teen Information Center, located across from the parish offices. $70 deposit is required before November 8th as well as registration forms in order to attend this important pilgrimage. We have limited spots for our parish’s delegation, so please contact Kym if you wish to attend. We leave the evening of Jan. 19th and return on the 24th. Please pray about joining us and if you have questions call Kym’s office. FORMS are DUE by Nov. 8th with the $70 deposit.

Did you know we have 9 Middle School students who have discerned and felt God’s call for them to be the first Middle School Youth Council! Our parish is very blessed to have such wonderful and dedicated youth who want to share their energy for the Lord! If you are still interested it’s not too late! You still have time to apply!
