The FAITH IN ACTION committee is charged with promoting the Stewardship Principles of Time, Talent, and Treasure. Sharing these principles in our daily lives forms the foundation of active discipleship within our Church and serves as evidence of the spirituality alive in each of us. This committee seeks ways to get people to share their Time and Talents in the Church ministries and programs by educating them on what is available, where there are needs, and what new opportunities there are to get involved in. This group also focuses on educating members about the importance and responsibility of sharing their Treasure in order to help the Church fulfill its mission and help those in need. The fundamental goal of this committee is to help all members live an active life of stewardship in the Church and community and to help build up the Kingdom of God on earth. To volunteer for this ministry fill out the  Shared Ministry form and mail to the church or place in the collection basket during mass. Read our “Blog“‘, ‘Faith In Action’

Having a scheduled event outside the normal functions at the church? Call ahead at least a week in advance to have the room temperatures adjusted. Contact Lamont at 763.271.3071. Planning an outside project? (After it is approved of course) check the bulletin in advance to be sure there is not a wedding or other function going on that day. Weddings are listed 3 weeks in advance in the bulletin and other functions vary. When in doubt—call ahead.

Plant Sale

St. Henry’s Garden Group had a VERY successful plant sale over the weekend of May 5th & 6th. We received $2,529.64 in free will offerings. It was a fun time and we had many happy customers. Plants from the Gathering Space of the church helped to boost sales and we also received a hefty donation which surprised us all. Thanks to you who donated plants from your gardens and to those who helped put this all together. It was an amazing weekend. We bow in gratitude for your support and prayers.
