The PARISH FINANCE COMMITTEE is consultative in nature, offering advice to the pastor. The Finance Committee must observe both Church and civil law in sound management of the temporal goods of the parish.
The Finance Committee is charged with specific responsibilities:

  • Providing an annual financial report for the parish.
  • To prepare information on the financial conditions and the needs of the parish that may be necessary for the Parish Pastoral Council to make decisions relative to the collection of funds and the expenditure or disposition of funds.
  • To review the financials from St. Henry Cemetery on a quarterly basis.
  • To prepare an annual budget.
  • To direct the raising of revenue for the parish.
  • To advise the Pastor and the Parish Pastoral Council in matters concerning the use of parish facilities.
  • To provide a plan for disaster recovery and annually review the plan.
  • To oversee parish investments in accordance with Archdiocesan policies and guidelines.
  • To review insurance coverage and liability limits on an annual basis.
  • To provide a list of fixed assets and inventory and review and update the listing annually.

The Finance Committee meets at 7:45 PM on the second Tuesday of each month in the Fireside Room. The Finance Committee is made up of six members at-large from the Parish community, the Pastor, and the Parish Council Liaison. The Trustees are ex-officio members. Members serve a three-year term but can choose to serve up to a maximum of six consecutive years.
