Pastoral Ministry reaches out to the needs of our own members and the community as well. One such ministry within the pastoral program is communion to shut-ins.
Communion to Shut-Ins:
Every now and then things happen in our lives which make it impossible to get to mass: illness, commitment, etc. This problem may be either short term or long term, but it doesn’t diminish or disre to receive the Good Lord in the Eucharist regardless of the time line. This is where our volunteers step up to lend a hand. If you would like to receive the Good Lord, we will bring Him to you. A volunteer will call and make arrangements with you as to a time and day that will work for both you and the volunteer. We try to come weekly. The length of the commitment will depend on your needs. If we can serve you, please call the parish office.
To volunteer you may fill out our Shared Ministry form and mail to the church or place in the collection basket during mass.
