The privilege and responsibility of a spiritual director is to journey with you as you deepen your relationship with God. A spiritual director is someone who is prepared through training, experience, and spiritual formation to help another in his or her spiritual life.
Spiritual directors continue tending their own spiritual life by engaging in ongoing education, supervision and meeting regularly with their chosen spiritual director.
The relationship between you and your spiritual director takes place in the context of a confidential, on-on-one session. Both agree on the location and time for a meeting, usually once a month for an hour.
