What is a small group?

A Small Group  “… fosters personal relationships, builds community and provides formation to help parishioners grow as joyful missionary disciples of Christ.”   - Archbishop Hebda (Pastoral Letter,  You will be my Witnesses  (2022).

Why join a small group?

Jesus started his universal church in a small group, so we are adopting the same strategy at St. Henry’s Catholic Church.

It is a great way to find close connections, friendships, and to grow in your faith.

Whether you are new to the parish or not, we can help you get started.  

• Meet people with similar interests at St. Henry’s
• Develop authentic friendships and a support group
• Deepen your personal relationship with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ

-WIDOW/WIDOWER SUPPORT GROUP

Have you lost a spouse and would appreciate the community of a support group? The next Widow/Widower Support Group will be on Monday, June 3 ^rd , 6:30-8:00pm in the Fireside Room.  Please feel free to come and find out if this group is right for you. Group meets the First and Third Monday of the month, 6:30-8:00pm in Fireside Room.  Please wait at least 3 months after the loss of your spouse to join the group.  Renee Berens is the facilitator, contact her to sign up or attend or if you have any questions, please contact Nora in the parish office at 763-271-3072.

-NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING CLASSES

Learn a simple, natural, and scientific method to achieve, postpone, and avoid pregnancy. These classes teach a symptom-based method to track a woman’s cycle. It includes three classes, three follow-up chart reviews to go over the charting of the women’s cycle, and supplies.  Please contact Nora Dehmer with questions, or to sign up for a class.
